The Concept

The body dryer is a tried and tested piece of equipment for less abled individuals in the UK and Europe. The concept has been used extensively since 1991 and is pioneered by the same family run business.

The airBody Dryer™, formerly apresShower™ Body Dryer is very similar to a hand dryer, but our body dryer is a much larger unit and used to dry the entire body. It emits air from its 2.0 m long leg at approximately 12 metre per second, achieving on average an output of 38°C. This airflow and heat helps to evaporate the water from your skin leaving you dry. The heat also increases and maintains a comfortable air temperature after showering; this is beneficial if towel drying takes you a few minutes.

Easy installation

Unlike other assistive technology the body dryer does not require a major reconstruction of your shower or wet room area. Installation only requires two screws for the ‘pod’ bracket and electrical installation completed by a qualified electrician.
